Well the thing is, and I think Randy said it best once, when Salah talks about why he likes music/musicians, he tends to do it in the same way Perez Hilton does: He discusses how they dress and their attitude and their appearance, but I can't say I've ever seen him really talk about why the music itself particularly appeals to him.

I'm just surprised to see someone fault one for thinking DP's live show is the best electronic live show.

EDIT: Further, I don't think it's relevant to tastes in music. It's relevant to tastes in live shows.
