Not to play devil's advocate or anything but is there a reason why everyone on this message board goes apeshit about Primavera over Benicassim?

Sure, the lineup's a bit better but Benicassim's right on the beach and has camping (also right on the beach). Primavera has no camping and the spectator area of the main stage is made of concrete.

Primavera looks awesome but I'm seriously thinking of going the Benicassim route rather than Primavera once I finally make it to Spain next year.

Because Vampire Weekend is headlining a day....... Not enough? And I mean, considering Primavera goes through the night until sunrise pretty much, is a different way to do a festival ya know? And I think because a lot of the acts Primavera gets are more in line with peoples tastes on here? Benicassim has had some cool line ups before, but this one is alright..

You make some valid points...except that Benicassim is even more nocturnal, the acts there play between 5pm to 8am.
