safe and successful travels to anyone who is flying over for this
Lick an orange, it tastes like an orange. Lick a pineapple, it tastes like a pineapple. Go ahead, try it. Try some more. The strawberries taste like strawberries. The snozzberries taste like snozzberries! We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams. Come along, come along.

Not to play devil's advocate or anything but is there a reason why everyone on this message board goes apeshit about Primavera over Benicassim?

Sure, the lineup's a bit better but Benicassim's right on the beach and has camping (also right on the beach). Primavera has no camping and the spectator area of the main stage is made of concrete.

Primavera looks awesome but I'm seriously thinking of going the Benicassim route rather than Primavera once I finally make it to Spain next year.

Is this poster online somewhere and do you have the link? I'd like to send it to someone... I noticed it's not on the Primavera site.

Because Vampire Weekend is headlining a day....... Not enough? And I mean, considering Primavera goes through the night until sunrise pretty much, is a different way to do a festival ya know? And I think because a lot of the acts Primavera gets are more in line with peoples tastes on here? Benicassim has had some cool line ups before, but this one is alright..

You make some valid points...except that Benicassim is even more nocturnal, the acts there play between 5pm to 8am.

A couple of hours regarding end time each day isnt make or break. The line up is. And probably that its not a huge mass of people either. Ill let you know, if this volcano doesnt screw up my journey out there in a week that is.

Benicassim also has a metric butt load of candy raver types. I'd pass on it for that reason alone.

Safe travels Supre. I would say take lots of awesome pictures and report back but I have a feeling that might be a little redundant.

Hey Supre, post your planned schedule if you get a chance?

On Thursday Surfer Blood into The Fall into BSS into Pavement? Fuck!!!

On Friday New Pornos into Spoon into Wilco into Cold Cave into Pixies? Fuck!!

Pet Shop Boys at 1a.m. on Saturday? Dance party!!

Not only is this lineup amazing there doesn't seem to be that many gross conflcts either.

The Charlatans, Matt & Kim, No Age + Built To Spill all starting at 11pm on Sat is a pretty gross conflict.

I hope you make it to The Charlatans (and film at least a song).
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

You smuggled a glow stick? If you can, perhaps you can also stick a variety of tapas in your socks.

For some reason, I read that as "A variety of Tampax in your socks".

I saw somebody with a Primavera wristband, looks really sweet, its silver with black font.... one more day.

Weather is improving, 30% chance of rain friday, and it says pm showers, which doesnt help, but its better than 60%.

Also it isn't live. The A Sunny Day In Glasgow broadcast started 15 minutes ago but the set started almost four hours ago.

    But, still, it is cool.
