Wu Tang all together is not so great live any more than 3 of them together on stage and it gets pretty bad

Hey Coachella do something different weve already had eastcoast oldies like Public Enemy, and we've had countless underground hip hop and maintstream artists like Kanye and Lupe Fiasco.

Try to get OUTKAST or some classic westcoact rap and yes I know Westcoast is dated and tired but make it fresh with a live band backing up the rapper like this.............................................. ...........................................

Depends on how much of a pure rap show you want I guess. I like the spectacle of them all being there.

Hieroglyphics can hold a show with all of them on stage at once, and I would probably prefer that to Wu-Tang.
    Ron Paul 2012!

    Upcoming Shows:
    Four Tet
    Coachella 4/20-4/22
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
    Radiohead
    some other bands

I didn't say all rap groups just Wu Tang. Pharcyde, Heiroglyphics, and Living Legends are all groups that hold it together pretty well live and I would like any of them over all of the Wu

WHAAAAAAA???? you gotta be kidding me.

First of all Hieros from the Bay and Legends are from LA, two completely different styles.... Not to mention the amount of countless songs theyve collaborated on....

If your saying Legends are not as raw then dig a little deeper....

Was that really such a controversial claim? There are a couple standouts in Living Legends (already named above) but in Hiero I could listen to probably half those guys all day. Better live show, better songs.

Living Legends are good, but Hiero is (was?) damn near perfect.

No one would do that at today's Coachella. But I think this supports my evidence that there is plenty of hip-hop in Coachella's roots.

:sigh: they just don't make hip hop like they used to.

that being said, MF Doom is rad. Also Glitch Mob, 2Mex, Madlib, Krush, and several others already mentioned...

Krush was in my top five for '05... would love to see him again.

yup. ha. if they did that, they would only see two acts!

hip hop was cool in the early part of the decade which is why it was cool to have a heavy hip hop influence in the coach lineup. in 2009 its kind of embarassing to be associated with it. you would be put in the same category as black eyed peas and lil wayne which is embarssing.

On a side note, MF doom lives in LA now i believe and rocks shows at Low End Theory occasionaly. He has an album out with Daedaelus that just came out recently i think....Daedaelus was selling it at his show a few weeks ago. i didnt have cash on me so i didnt copp...anyone have it?

Fuck, that would be cool... I doubt we will ever see a co flow reunion. But El-P killed it the last time he played, he's great live.

I support a Mos Def slot on the mainstage. His latest album is strong and he's very versatile.
