Morrissey Tickets Come With Coupons For... Burgers

Morrissey's an outspoken vegetarian and the guy can't even be near the smell of meat without gagging. So it might be kind of surprising that Ticketmaster's online tickets for Moz's upcoming Los Angeles show come with coupons for burgers from Denny's.

The Idolator blog unveiled what must be Ticketmaster fail #1565784903 after former Reno 911! star Thomas Lennon tweeted about it after buying his tickets to the Dec. 10 gig at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

"No joke. My Morrissey Ticketmaster print out tickets come with a COUPON FOR A DENNY'S HAMBURGER. Classy, Ticketmaster," he wrote.

Before you get your panties in a knot, it might be helpful to know the coupon also gets you a Boca Burger, which is the Denny's veggie burger. The folks at Denny's tweeted about it in response to Lennon and Idolator's reports.

"We <3 Moz & vegetarian friends," they wrote.

Great, but do you really think Morrissey would go anywhere near a Denny's if he can't even smell meat? Let's not forget he once threatened not to play a show at Canada's Wonderland back in The Smiths days if he so much as smelled a hot dog. Have you seen the meat that stacks a Denny's' menu?

In the meantime, you can pick up a copy of Moz's B-sides compilation, Swords, which comes out next Tuesday. It features 18 B-sides recorded for singles from his You Are The Quarry, Ringleader Of The Tormentors and Years Of Refusal albums. The first few copies will come with a bonus disc of songs recorded in Warsaw, Poland this year.

Moz is touring (not Canada he still hates our seal-beating asses) in support of Years Of Refusal and you can see him here:
