When does the The 2010 Headliner Hurt/Heal Game end...or does it?

Oh yes. Quite the debate it is. Since there are sub-headliner and Sahara Headliner Hurt/Heal Games coming down the pipeline, it's best to set an undisputable precedent.

By the time the rumor mill really starts to make it's rounds this game will have lost it's relevance.

Also Boourns, why does this end on November 1st? People seem to enjoy it... I think that rule should be reconsidered.

A deadline makes things more interesting-a sense of urgency,if you will.

The reason this game should go on is because the real fight is just starting. We worked hard to get most of the crap off the list. Now the real battle begins fighting to keep your pick in the top 20 and then in the top 10. Do you hate Arcade Fire more than you like Daft Punk? Would you rather sabatoge Bowie just to keep Radiohead alive? Tough Choices ahead.

A sense of urgency means nothing with over-supply. And that's exactly what we have. It's still gonna take 200+ votes to get the bottom 15 off this list. If we have a deadline, it shouldn't be Nov 1 (And possibly no date at all). Perhaps the deadline is when we get down to X number of headliners left.

I would fully support a deadline of the final 25.

No, I totally agree with a deadline. Besides, we need to end this one to start the next. If we have multiple Hurt/Heals going on at the same time, they will lose their focus I feel.

So I'm not the end all say all, but I support the Nov 1st cut off. From that list the top, what, 15 can be the winners... maybe 10?
