Anyone a fan of Wolfgang Gartner? It sounds like he throws a sweet set. Here's a video of him playing his track "Wolfgang's 5th Symphony" into his remix of "Heartbreaker"...

Check out his other tracks like "Flashback" and "Firepower"

sid has been throwing Weeble World since around 1995 I believe... or other parties such as Opium and Psychedelic Circus... those were some interesting old school days.
Wish this was closer to LA, I'd love to get down to some Ron D Core again!

Pomona is less than an hour away from LA. Clean and safe area near the Glasshouse. You should gooooooooo! The dance scene at the Pomona Fox Theater needs to be revived.

I know, but since I moved to Hollywood it's harder and harder to justify driving more than 20 minutes to go clubbing/raving...
I remember the days where everyone would have to drive out to San Bernardino to the Dome/Orange Show/Boys & Girls Club every damn weekend to rave....thank God those days are over!

I hear the Fox is much less sketchy now, used to be real creepy. Remember the Nation of Islam security? Kind of an intimidating presence at a party.

Yeah, it's completely remodeled. They've had Gogol Bordello and The Flaming Lips play and soon Cafe Tacuba and Sonic Youth!
The whole area is a nice little art district now.

I never go to raves anymore, unless I am doing lighting for them.. I am thinking about this.. Weebleworld is a little nostalgic to me.

I need to decide between this and BSS fast.

BSS: Pros: Missed them @ HARD, I want to see more, The Mayan Cons: Far, I'd have to buy someones ticket so i dont go alone or at least chip in.

Weeble: Pros: 5 mins to home, last til 5, Plump DJs, other cool acts, Fox theater Cons: Not as cool as BSS.

    PLUMP + GARTNER > BSS

WEEBLE costs less and lasts longer. EASY CHOICE.

That's a tough choice for you WTLF since you missed out, but the Plumps are going to bring it. More for your money as well. 5 minutes from your house?! That's awesome. Also it's my birthday weekend so we are getting down.
