    I take back my previous statement. With Tron:Legacy not being released until December 2010, I don't see how Daft Punk will be touring until closer to that date. So too late for Coachella 2010, possibly a stop in the middle or on the end of that tour at Coachella 2011

    we should just build up a lot of hype anyways even though we secretly know it probably won't happen. then we can get let down really extra hard and work up another year's worth of anticipation. rinse and repeat until they actually play so its that much more epic. it'll be an emotional roller coaster followed by SEVERE depression once its over.

    I was thinking Daft Punk was a serious possibility until I found this out too. Originaly Trong Legacy was suposed to be released March 2010. Perfect timeframe for Coachella. However, this is not the case. Due to these new circumstances, Daft Punk will headline a day in 2011.

    There's been no indication that Daft Punk is doing anything other than a score for Tron2. If it's just a movie score, I'm not sure why every wants them to do a Tron2 tour. It would seem more productive to wait for them to put out an actual album of new Daft Punk songs, instead.

    I still believe this, too. Even though the buzz they tried to create with their Alive tour wasn't anything like what may occur with the Tron Legacy tour (if there ever is going to be one), Daft Punk played Coachella a year before they did their mini US tour.
