Help Save This Dog.

Hi All,

I never do these kind of things but I was hoping I could get some help from some of the boardies. 2 weeks ago, my wife went to the grocery store and find an old dog running around the parking lot. My wife caught the dog and took it to our vet in hopes that someone would claim the dog (we put flyers out to no avail). The vet was only able to hold him for a week and then was going to turn her over to the local shelter. Well, we didn't think that was a good idea since the dog is probably 10 years old and wouldn't be picked up by anyone. Sooo....we currently have the dog and are looking for a home for her. Another problem that arose is the dog needs some medical attention, nothing life threatening (we hope) but it really needs to get some check ups and blood work done because she has really bad teeth. Whoever had her before really didn't take care of her....SOOOO the point to all this is we are looking for donations to help take the dog to the vet...this is where I need your help...I am not sure what is the best way to go about it (paypal, etc.) but I want to try and set up an internet "coin jar" so to speak to help take the dog to the vet. Anyone have any ideas how to go about this? Enclosed is a pic of the dog...if anyone can help we would greatly appreciate it..I hope I'm not breaking board rules to do this but I figured here would be a good place to start...Dani, Erik let me know if it is ok to post here. FYI, we can't keep her because we already have 4 dogs of our own...all rescue animals.

no, we need to find it a home. But we can't afford the medical treatment for it right now. I just need to know how to set up an internet money jar so to speak.
