I saw 2ManyDJ's last Halloween, and thought it was way too hyped up...I found it to be pretty good, but nothing spectacular.

i guess the sad part about all of this discussion is there is no legitimate way to go about actually determining what the crowds are like at each event. all of our comments are based on our extremely limited and anecdotal impressions/experiences. we all have our reasons for thinking the crowd at one event is better than the other, im just as guilty as everybody else obviously.

i have an affinity towards hard events because *in my personal opinion* they have carved out a distinct place for themselves in edm events separate from typical raves. they showcase the top tier acts in the electro/house vein of edm as the main acts, not just some side stage sub-headliners. there aren't many events as big as hard that do that. obviously if you love insomniac events then hard comes off like a half ass rave. and thats because it is, and thats what its supposed to be. some people enjoy that, some dont.

SERIOUSLY crookers needs to stop playing hard events, i know its the perks of having gary as your manager but there are plenty of high demand acts that i would like to see instead at this point. not to say i don't like crookers, just tired of them at hard events. as far as incorporating other genres into hard events, i agree that there could be more effort made and it would probably go over well. i know at hard 13 pure filth had some some stuff going on outside on a small stage but i think dubstep is definitely at a place where it deserves some more attention

Gary Richard manages Crookers and partially Major Lazer so thats one of the reasons they always on the ticket. Even if you dont like Crookers, the people who will be there will make it fun bc they play a good party mix that the masses can enjoy.

The idea of better acts is all opinion. You can get the most popular trance artist in the world but someone like me would rather see a Jack Beats set. And who is Jack Beats? He's not even close to as popular as the top tier trance producers but guess what? To me he IS better. There is like 4 or 5 acts that I would like to see at MM.

So 2manydjs, beetroots, basement jaxx, justice, major lazer, Bss. That's 6. So already in my opinion it is better. But the cool thing about us not sharing the same opinion is we don't share the same bank account. So when I buy my HARD ticket you can still buy your MM ticket. And guess what there's someone who hates EDM and hip hop is better so they go to a hip hop show that night then whatever act they are seeing is better than MM & HARD. And the many people on this board think Phish is better than anyone at MM or HARD.

I think I read it pretty well. But elaborate. Are the DJ's better because they're more famous? So if a festival has Lil Wayne and Britney Spears is it the best festival?
