-"you don't have cancer!"
-"not yet"
I really want to see this but don't have access to a TV with HBO. Jonathan Ames is one of my favorite writers.
So Bored to Death is a show-about what?
Its about a struggling writer, (Jason Schwarztman) who moonlights as a gumshoe. He is also dealing with life's games and going through it all..Bradley Cooper expands on his roll from The Hangover. He's as neurotic and looney in Bored to Death as he was in the movie. Ted Danson is hilarious, too.
loved the show
The Glitter Freeze
Coachella 99-10 Vet, the run has ended in 2011
Closing the first episode with the T.V. On The Radio song, Halfway Home. Classic...
There it is...
I'm losing my edge...
cute show. i can stick around for a second episode.
last night's Mad Men episode took the cake though. um, bloody good.
season 2 has been fantastic. i hope they do a full 12 episodes, next round.
I love this show...Jason Schwartzman needs to be slapped repeatedly, but overall I think the show is pretty great
'99-'11...
Hodgman's character is history's greatest monster
This is the best show on Television, imho.
I would love someone like Ted Danson's character in my life. lol
edit: I don't own a television or watch many other shows, but of those that have been suggested or that I have watched this is the most intelligently written show I've seen.

Rhythm is a dancer.
I agree. It's the one show on tv that I enjoy from beginning to end, and I like that it's only a half hour.
"Still smoking a lot of weed?"
"Well, everyday but not a lot."
the little subtle bits of dialogue in this show are so good, and probably the best chemistry between actors on a show.
I watched the first two seasons this summer and fell in love with this show. It's pretty awesome that HBO supports a show like this.

yeah, and this last episode hit something on the head when George said that they are emotionally available, just not with women. You get the sense that they genuinely care about each other, something that's pretty rare to be portrayed well.
FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!! HBO just announced that they're not bringing this back.
