Default Bands You Like On TV

There's a similar thread in the Lineup/Artists section for Coachella bands, but I haven't noticed one for bands that people like in general.

Post in this thread if a band you like is making an upcoming appearance on Letterman, Conan, Colbert, etc.

For example, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are on Conan in about a half hour.
    7/30 - Shabazz Palaces - Roxy (?)
    7/31 - Hamilton Leithauser - Echo (?)
    8/01 - Ceremony/Nothing - Roxy (?)
    8/06 - Herbie Hancock - Hollywood Bowl (?)
    8/07 - Haim - Wiltern (?)

I happened to see this thread and turn on the show at the last second. I feel their performance lacked energy, but playing for a sitting audience had something to do with it I'm sure.

Seriously. And "Heads Will Roll" sounded amazing at Coachella and Glasto. Guess the crowd needs to be bumping.

    Tonight, 9/28:

    Dirty Projectors on Jimmy Fallon.
    Metric on Carson Daly.

(and Paramore on Conan, but that's not a band I like so not really conducive with the point of this thread.)

That's a good lineup for tonight, hopefully I'll be home in time from Datarock to catch one of them play.

Dirty Projectors on Fallon?... Man I'd love to see the Roots chime in on one of their songs. That would be absurd (in a good way).
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

The Dirty Projectors played a new song last night on Fallon. The girls were, as always, aurally incredible. I love the band to death, but they're such hipster bait it's not even funny.

Yeah, Carson Daly's pretty much owned by Live Nation. Every musical guest recently has been from "Live Nation's Palladium" or "Live Nation's Wiltern" and he says it over and over and over again. He's such a bitch.

Any chance Phoenix plays something other than Listztomania/1901? Fences would be cool.

Goddammit, I didn't exactly know what people meant about the Tonight Show sound sucking until now.

For anyone on the fence about seeing Grizzly Bear live in the next few weeks..........when you do they'll sound 1000000x better, 1000000x more energetic, and 1000000x more enthusiastic. I guarantee it.

The selection of "Two Weeks" at this point is a head-scratcher, that song was the album's first single and is one of the poppier and less layered songs on the album. After "Cheerleader" on Fallon and "Ready, Able" on Letterman I really would have hoped that they would have at least gone with "While You Wait For the Others" or something else.

Sonic Youth on Gossip Girl was weird. Kim Gordon officiated a marriage. The version of "Star Power" they played was all soft and acoustic and weddingy.

Especially given they already did Two Weeks on Letterman a little over a year ago. Southern Point would have been cool.

As far as I can figure, the Arcade Fire bit is just the Blogotheque recording of Wake Up and Neon Bible.
