So Handy Man was awful. I didn't enjoy it at all. Reminded me of some boring Depeche Mode song.
Heartbeats was good. I liked it and with the video it really enhances the song. Same goes for Silent Shout.
I'm not sure I would enjoy them a whole lot on album but live I would say I definitely want to see them. Based on this, what album should I start with?
Just get Silent Shout. They only have two albums out and that one is far superior.
Silent Shout is OK, but that chick's voice makes me want to stab monkeys.

I'm kinda the same way which is why I didn't understand the love for Animal Collective all year long. The same argument over and over again got old. 'oh, you need to see them in a dark club'. I didn't understand how that would make those irritating sounds any more enjoyable.
Jacob keeps playing the latest AC around the house. It's better than the other albums but still not something I want to listen to that much.

I won't listen to Fever Ray because it's that chick.

Three, actually. I even listed the album titles next to the names of the songs I provided.
Tom, some Knife songs you may like:

"Rock Classics" - Deep Cuts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WhQ5TiBHVk
"Marble House" - Silent Shout (album version)

"Marble House" (live)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnT9AZELaA0
"From Off to On" - Silent Shout (live version particularly)
Fuck it, vids from the songs I mentioned earlier to that other guy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NLWWOsKOwk
"Lasagna" - The Knife
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKhjaGRhIYU&feature=fvw
"Pass This On" - Deep Cuts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqNSd-x1yEs
"Like a Pen" - Silent Shout
Now my turn: Scott Walker. I downloaded The Drift and while some of the music is interesting, his monotone is fucking annoying, especially since his voice is an acquired taste in the way liking being shit on has got to be. I'm almost convinced the clamoring for him to perform at Coachella next year is just people being hipsters and trying to pine for someone obscure simply for the sake of his obscurity.

Yeah, I already said in this thread that I like that Talib Kweli song.

Yelling "fuck da police" with Snoop Dogg at Bonnaroo is turning zzzizzzles into a hip hop head.
No, it's all you, baby.

You know that's the absolute most annoying thing to say in regard to an act that you can't get into, right?
As for Animal Collective, obviously if you hate the band, a light show isn't going to change anything, but I don't think that seeing them in a small club at night is about the light show. Some bands just operate better in certain types of atmospheres. I saw Sunn 0))) last night and it was an incredible, powerful show, but it would seem downright silly at 3pm on the Outdoor Theater, and not because of any light show.
Not yet. I'll get on that. I wasn't really looking for recommendations actually since I've actually come to appreciate them a bit more lately, but I appreciate them.
Only three songs for all of hip hop is a bit ridic.
