So... What does that say about people who take so much stock in his actions?

Also, you have to figure that someone running the show could have stopped him from going on stage, or turned the mic off (like what happened that one year when Panic at the Disco won best video and some rapper tried stealing their mic time), but they chose not to. Why? Because even if Kanye West had called Taylor Swift's mother a fucking Nazi it was going to boost interest in MTV, MTV-related product, and boost ratings for the numerous re-broadcasts they will do of the show.

Completely insignificant, especially in the shadow of the Bears/Packers game.
