The lineup poster highly advises against attending.

This Halloween show is almost as worthless as Freaknight here in Seattle.

Don't you dare judge me by what I am doing on October 30th. Halloween is my wife's favorite holiday, so we do what she wants to do, which is hang with the SF goths.

That's right, you saw that tour too a few days before in SoCal. So true. Ladytron played such a crisp, visually stimulating set and then the Faint came on and made a ton of noise with iffy vocals for 90 minutes.

Just got my ticket...$25 exactly, which is the exact amount I paid last time to see The Faint.

Ya I think they are open 10-5 most days. But, if you are going, I would buy it soon, I think tickets go up on the 20th.

so I was looking at tickets for this on ticketbastard, and noticed the following note about pricing:

    Doors open at 6:30 PM. Ticket prices change according to the following schedule September 14-September 20: $23.00 September 21-October 4: $28.00 October 5-October 29: $33.00 October 30: $38.00

*Promotion will execute via a 50% discount off the total price and fees of tickets in multiples of two. Lawn, general admission or reserved tickets subject to availability at participating venues and select shows. Parking and shipping fees may apply. Cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.
wtf promotion are they talking about? I tried ordering two tickets and there was no 50% discount.

looks like ticketmaster somehow inherited a from livenation about their 2-for-1 ticket offer. weird. and a shame, 50% off on already cheap tickets would have been killer.

I am kinda thinking about doing this.

Is it easy enough to locate a cab after an event at Cow Palace? I never go there because I have no idea how the hell you'd get back to SF.

Im assuming so, we are planning on taking 9x there and getting a cab for the way back. Worse comes to worse you could just walk a couple blocks away and call for a cab to pick you up there.

Walking down Geneva by Bayshore at 2AM looking for a cab sounds really fantastic. That is exactly why I don't go to Cow Palace events.

call a cab... give them your description... otherwise it'll be near impossible unless you push some candy ravers outta the way.

it's part of the Livenation wednesday special, and ticketmaster/LN venues still honor the deals.

    two regular price tickets:

    Ticket Price: US $35.00 x 2
    Convenience Charge: US $9.55 x 2
    SUBTOTAL: US $89.10

so two for one would cost you $45 a ticket.

so uh take the $20 offer today.

so my math was totally off earlier. two for one would cost you $22.50 a ticket.

today's offer was still killer. this is going to be fun.
