I suspect we won't get them ahead of time. :-(
hmm it's 2 miles from bart to the cow palace. a little longer than I anticipated. though the broken record is mid-way, might be a nice place to stop and grab a drink.
looks like the last bart back to the city leaves at 12:11 am. meaning definitely needing a cab back. hmm.
back from searching for set times.....
all I got is from every DJ/Band's myspace.....about 90% of them say it starts at 8:00pm
except for The Crystal Method which is saying 10:00pm.
Live 105's bills usually follow in line.
Any one grab line up info, I'm searching like crazy, hope we get set times ahead of time...
I don't know if this impacts any of you but the bridge is still closed and at present doesn't sound like it will be re-opening tonight. (They are still trying to reopen it after commuting hours).
SET TIMES!!!!!
I NEEDST IT.
well that was like a kindergarden rave. I suspected as much but didn't really know what it would feel like. now I have, and doubt I would go to another cow palace massive.
having said that, basement jaxx was totally worth it. I totally lost myself.
SHIT SHOW of raves, but we were the ones that everyone wanted to be, we were the only ones raving...

I tried to warn everyone about events at the Cow Palace--nice to hear that Basement Jaxx delievered.
Basement Jaxx and Infected Mushroom had me in a daze, Crystal Method was on too early and we almost missed them but Ken of TCM had a cookie monster mask on will playing too funny...
I wish Diplo played before TCM so I could have warmed up with dancing, wasn't feeling TCM until the middle of there set, Le Castle Vania was a straight Live 105 dj mixing in Smashing pumplins to KOL to YYY's, but I was grooving. The crowd sucked but fuck it I went for the music and danced like crazy...

I have lived here for a decade and haven't actually been in cow palace. Maybe Dickens faire this year![]()
I loved The Faint and Basement Jaxx
retarded ass set times.
I had soo much fun at this.
The Crystal Method really did bring the place down. I got chills from watching them. They NEVER Fail. Yes they played early and yes they should of gotten more time. They played the following songs in their short set.
Trip Like I do
Vapor Trail
Double Down Under
Come Back Clean
Born Too Slow
Wild, Sweet, and Cool
Keep Hope Alive
Busy Child
I know i'm missing a couple of songs. I got to meet Ken. He happened to be walking around and I approached him. Like me he's a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He told me that he will be in attendance when the Pens play the Kings and Ducks this week.
Diplo was cool. I agree with you Geno_Guerrero that he should of played before TCM.
Basement Jaxx really suprised me by throwing out those old school Freestyle jams. that was tight.
Flosstradmus was unreal. I was glad that I talked to my girl Kid Sister. It had been since Coachella 2008 that i seen her. She did her song "right hand hi" during Floss's set.
Steve Aoki brought the heat.
I really did like Le Castle Vania. Imma have to check his stuff out.
all in all I kinda felt I was in the Sahara tent the whole time.

I loved how Ken came out in that cookie monster mask...
Basement jaxx won the night for me, closing with Where's your head at? my head was in the right place...
Le castle vania dropped Invaders Must Die while I was wearing my shirt...
Why the HELL did TCM play so fucking early? I ended up missing them. My girl and I arrived for the last bits of Diplo. I think my expectations of The Faint were too high, that coupled with a shitty crowd, made for less of an experience than I wanted with The Faint.
Basement Jaxx was a fucking BLAST and Infected Mushroom had me grinning the whole time we danced so hard.
A couple times we had to move from where we started to dance at just to get out of the piss ass crowd and find an open area of people actually dancing and enjoying themselves so we could get up in it.
I was in a very successful geek/nerd/dork costume and my gf was in a bee costume, oh, and stuffed a whole fuck load of glow sticks in my pants once we found out we couldn't take any in. Got them all in without any issues =p
ROFL the security taking glowsticks away was retarded.
also there was one point I saw some dude throwing glowsticks out into the crowd. I was about to go commend him for it, when security got to him first and told him off. wtf?
generally agree with you dogvolta. sorry you missed the crystal method.
I was just saying it seemed like everyone was standing, I saw people dancing and raving but seemed like the attendance of people were kids that never even heard of most of the bands...
Shaker I thought it was funny when people were asking the dude that threw the glowsticks where he got them, and security thought he was selling drugs, haha...
