Sorry. I was talking about The Crystal Method in particular. Last time I looked I thought the poster said it was a DJ set. But you are right. It is live. Fucking awesome.

Now that The Crystal Method is a live set this show is even more worth it. I can't believe how much negativity there is about this event, so cheap for such a good lineup.

I haven't, but the people I am going to the event with have for two massives, and said they both were really fun.

So happy that CM changed to a live set... yesssss...

I've been to ETD Pop 2008... I'm sure It'll have a similar set up to the Forum @ Hard Summer...

wait, that sounds like a bad idea.

Pop was 5 rooms... which was nice. Except the whole 100+ undercovers running around scooping up unsuspecting ravers.

but the floor plan was done much more thought about than Hard.

Speaking of Hard Summer, I forgot the movie "Hackers" had "Cowgirl" by Underworld in it... They need to come back : (

Is it that much better than, say, going to Download Fest? You don't have to stay the whole time. At $33 for a ticket....I mean, come on. I would pay $33 to see just Crystal Method live.

There was a drug sting there at an etd. event in 2008 where a bunch of people got arrested. Dont know how great it worked as a venue tho...

And Id assume the audio/visuals will be very similar to the dj stage at BFD (Live105) this year which were average at best

Going and am down for a meet-up...something tells me I'll be slightly outta place, lol.

No problem, I've been keeping my eyes open for something good to go down on Halloween night... Unfortunately, I've already seen the majority of the djs on that bill : /

    I want somethin' fresh!

Btw, that 3 day "Freaker's Ball" that Raindance throws has this for an initial line-up:

Freq Nasty - The one and only
    Megasoid - Turbocrunk (Montreal, CA)
    Claude Von Stroke (Dirty Bird)
    Beats Antique
    Distance ( UK CHESTPLATE RECORDINGS)
RSD (of Smith and Mighty fame)
    Marty PArty (Panty Raid)
    Mochipet ( Daly City Records)
    An-Ten-Nae (ACID CRUNK, Get Freaky)
    Free The Robots (Live)
AARON JAE (Evil Brakes, Space Cowboys)
    Mozaic ( Glimmer of Dope)
    Brother (Raindance)
    Little John(Raindance)
    JPhlip (Dirty Bird)
    Kitty - D (Beat Church)
    Heyoka (Muti)
    Shawna(El Circo)
    Laura (El Circo)
    Digital Honey (Raindance)
Tom LG ( all 45's funk soul set)
    Rob Monroy (Raindance)
    Dub Pirates (Raindance)
    Rastatronics (Raindance, Subwize)
    Smasheltooth

I'm gonna go, I just need to convince david to go, CM live alone will kill it and Infected Mushroom too, I watched their set when I got lost at EDC and it was nuts...

    1. Covered that already.

    2. I'd assume not...considering this is a different event than BFD and the only thing that's going to be there is EDM.... Did you SEE who headlined the Subsonic tent...

This event is on a completely different level, and a much better one than a tent @ BFD.

it will likely be flooded with high school kids too young to remember who the crystal method are.

are ticket prices going up? or are they going to remain ridiculously cheap?

You can get that whole line-up @ a 1015 show on a given weekend... for half the price (probably more than half the price)

I always wondered why it was so expensive.
