Boom!...Boom-boom! Since then, I've missed countless opportunities to see one of my favorite bands. Perhaps I'll remedy that one day.

    2. The Smiths - I know this probably breaks the original poster's protocol, but I'm citing past missed chances. I'd tickets to see the Smiths at Radio City Music Hall, but Little Lord Morrissey had a hangnail or something equally traumatic, so they canceled. Then the Smiths split up. The end.

    3. Radiohead - I've heard good things about these youn go-getters.

    4. David Bowie - That would be rad.

    5. The Stone Roses - it's still possible, right? Right?
More votes for Radiohead and Bowie.....actually Crispin your list is quite the shocker....especially the Radiohead and Beastie Boy picks...

    1. The White Stripes
    2. Do Make Say Think
    3. Joanna Newsom
    4. Battles (I saw them do "Atlas" at Vegoose, but it still doesn't count)
    5. Comets on Fire
    (Old artists are boring!)

Hoping I will be able to scratch off Joanna and DMST in the next 6 months. Fingers crossed.

Hmmm...most of mine I just don't care about anymore, like REM or U2. I regret not seeing them back when I loved them, but it's not a big deal anymore. And I'm not going to say The Smiths or Talking Heads, even though it is physically possible.

    So, I'll say
    1)Peter Gabriel
    2)Bowie
    3)New Order
    4)Bauhaus (but that's a weak desire)
    5)?

Hmmm...I dunno. There are bands other people have mentioned that I would LIKE to see, like Underworld, but it's not a big deal to me.

From this thread, I HAVE seen...Pixies, Portishead, Bjork, Madonna, RHCP, Daft Punk, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Interpol, 808 State, The Cure (a bunch of times), Siouxsie, Mogwai, Tool, Stereolab, The The, Stooges, Smashing Pumpkins, Primus, Erasure, Beastie Boys and Devo. (A few of them I did not see full sets though.)

First of all, I have to say I am shocked! Shocked at the number of people who have not seen Bowie!

There are a lot of bands that I haven't seen because I wasn't willing to pay big $$$ for nosebleed seats.

    Tool
    Talking Heads
    Rammstein
    Pixies
    Lou Reed

    Beck!
    Swans
    Spacemen 3 (still possible, right?)
    Talking Heads

Technically, Faust belongs on that list, but I have a chance to see them in a month.

Who I've seen from others' lists: Portishead, White Stripes, Pixies, Bowie (from the back of an arena, so just barely), Radiohead, Daft Punk, Merzbow, McCartney, Boredoms, Deerhunter, Sleater-Kinney (half set), Arcade Fire (half set), Sonic Youth, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Stooges, Kraftwerk, Leonard Cohen, LCD Soundsystem (sort of, sat through their whole set at the back of the Sahara), Primus, Buzzcocks, Big Star, Autechre, Battles, Comets On Fire, Devo,

At a 500 capacity venue in Cleveland in March of 2003, one day after my 17th birthday. I was actually grounded the day of the show for some stupid shit I had pulled a week earlier, so I had to sneak out of the house and steal my mom's car for the night to go. Amazingly, I didn't get caught, and it was totally worth the risk. My memory is pretty hazy but I remember it being an amazing show. My friend who wasn't familiar with them but went with me anyway said she could see why I wanted to go so bad afterward. The music was absolutely beautiful and their projected images went really well with it. I'd love to see them again some time.

Yeah, I guess. But, I was able to get decent tickets to see Bowie twice on the last tour, for about $75/ticket.

Compare that to Aerosmith/KISS ($150), Van Halen ($150), the Eagles, Madonna, etc. I think Madonna nosebleed seats were going for over $200. Ridiculous.

And I don't think I will ever be able to see the Blue Man Group for the same reason.

1985, right? Yeah... Morrissey came down with bronchitis during their first US tour, and what's why they canceled.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

I suppose although Spiritualized has done pretty well for Jason. I don't think he misses having Sonic Boom around. I lucked out and saw them in London back in 1988 at London University. The entire front few rows of people (GA floor) brought big fluffy pillows and they were laying down on them when Spacemen 3 came out. With the exception of the bass player everyone in the band was seated. And the stage was dark with a huge spinning kaliedescope on a big screen behind them. Rollercoaster was especially memorable.

oh damn a Spacemen 3 reunion at Coachella would be incredible. Hearing "Suicide" performed live would be something to remember.

Part of me thinks that getting Jason and Peter back together would be tougher than most any other reunion out there.

But, yeah. Seeing Spacemen 3 would be amazing.

I tended to stick to artists that tour regularly. The following is the list of the top 5 artists that got kicked off due to those criteria:

    Spacemen 3
    Neutral Milk Hotel
    The Velvet Undergound
    Talking Heads
    The Smiths

I also left off artists that I haven't seen because they are dinosaurs and command a billion dollars a ticket. This is also known as the "Please Headline Coachella List."

    Neil Young
Bob Dylan (a little over a month and I'll have to edit)
    David Bowie
    Peter Gabriel
    Ryan Adams

I can't think of a fifth for that group.

Whoah. The only Sp3 song he did when I saw him was "Let It Down Gently." I kinda died.

I was gonna make a list of the Sp3 songs I've seen Jason do but I do not have the appropriate resources on hand. Plus it'd be quite a bit longer.

I know that I've seen Sonic Boom do Ecstasy Symphony, Starship, Suicide, Transparent Radiation, Feel So Good, Things'll Never Be The Same, So Hot (Wash Away All My Tears) and Revolution. There's probably a few more.

The coolest one I saw with Spiritualized is Take Me To The Other Side.

    See above.

I've seen Sonic Boom at the Echo and he played a few Spacemen 3 songs. The only one I'm sure of is "Transparent Radiation" (speaking of which, it'd be pretty fucking awesome to see Red Krayola do that album as a Don't Look Back set). I'm jealous that you saw "Suicide," Bryan. I could probably substitute Spacemen 3 with Spiritualized since all I've seen of them is the first few songs of their '08 Coachella set before the sound problems pissed me off and I walked away. Especially Ladies & Gentlemen Don't Look Back.

    1. Pulp
    2. Stone Roses
    3. Neutral Milk Hotel
    4. Libertines
    5. Smiths (kind of getting whatever about it)

I've never seen Bowie, but I don't know. Could he still bring it? If not would it be disappointing?
