I have not seen them since '95 in Michigan. Great live show. I missed out in England and gave up my tickets. I should have waited a few more days.

I saw them open for Pearl Jam twice in SFO ... they were fantastic ... opened both nights with "Incinerate" off the new album which I find to be a freakin' fantastic tune ... only had about 9-10 songs ... about what they'd play @ Coachella I'd assume.

i just got into them because i hear alot of people compare Blonde Redhead to Sonic Youth but they have so many CDs i didnt know where to begin.

Evol/Sister/Daydream Nation is a perfect stretch of recording, but sometimes hard for people to get into. If you like what you hear from them, check out those three albums. THey are amongst the best albums of all time.

Not a Sonic Youth fan, but they held their own opening for PJ last summer. It was crazy seeing Kim Gordon from far away. You would have thought she was like 25 years old with the energy she had. Seeing her 60 year old mug on a magazine a month later was so strange.

Great great great.
They played about 3 songs from Rather Ripped, the rest was older material.

The show I went to they played all of Rather Ripped except for one song (you should just buy that because it's great and fun to dance around to) and they played these oldies:

Shaking Hell

Eric's Trip

And they've been playing these songs too..
