In 2008 the 1st ever Indiegrrl conference was held in Spencer, VA and drew over 1,000 like-minded men and women together during late August. This year’s Indiegrrl Conference is being held in Nashville, TN, aka “Music City USA” at the beautiful and prestigious Hotel Preston, and expects no less than three times as many registrants as there were attendees in 2008.
Since both the Main Stage and Guerrilla Showcases are FREE to the public, and the event has already been receiving both local and National coverage, the overall impact will be well into the millions.
One of the featured activities during the Conference and Expo, will be a Pitch-a-Song™ session during which artists can have one-on-one conversations with music industry professionals and leaders. The Pitch-a-Song™ activity was begun by Toni Koch, who has been an artist, songwriter, musician, and community activist for the arts for over 30 years.
If you are an artist attending Indiegrrl and would like more information about this educational licensing opportunity, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Through the collaboration of W.O.M.E.N. as a Media Partner for the 2009 Indiegrrl Conference in Nashville this August, it is our aim to connect hundreds of thousands, if not millions of industry leaders, bands, brands and fans with the information presented during industry panels and workshops, tradeshow exhibitions, on-site mentorships and day and night showcases both on the main stages and in the “Guerrilla” rooms.
