He also played Cannon night 2. Pretty much every setlist I've seen online is missing that song.

That's how I felt about it as well. Before I first gave it a listen, I was thinking that it would be something that might have to grow on me, but I was blown away on first listen. I love this album. It's familiar yet new and I just think it's stellar.
I wish I could go to OSL, but I don't think I can swing it, I got kids. Perhaps though, perhaps.

There will be a 2nd night of this added on saturday.
He has/had 3 days in a row before. He even said one of the reasons for having the two bands is so he can play more shows without having everyone have to keep up with him. Either way the show announced will sell out instantly so I think it's pretty likely given the audience he has in so-cal.

Oh Jack...
Jack White says he is "immune" to noise.
The rocker is often surprised by how loud his own gigs are because his hearing has been damaged over the years.
The White Stripes musician never protects his ears because he can't hear what he is doing on the guitar, which has affected his hearing over the years.
"There was a White Stripes tour, which is probably one of the least loudest bands I would think because there are not too many people on stage. My monitor guy came over while we were playing at sound check and he held a decibel meter in front of my monitors and turned it around and showed me the number, which was 136 - and that day I thought it wasn't that bad!" he told BBC Radio 1. "I think I luckily got immune to it a few decades ago. I used to try and put ear protection in, but I couldn't hear my guitar tone, I couldn't hear what was going on and I would always pull them out three songs in. Even if it makes me go deaf, I have to know what it sounds like."
Jack also revealed he pushes himself to perform when he is feeling unwell.
The Seven Nation Army star explained that a voice affected by illness can create a whole different sound, for the benefit of the listeners.
"Say if you had a session booked early in the morning to play a song on the radio and your voice is gone, say 'No, let's go do it. It'll be something different'. I'll lower my voice an octave and the version will be different. They're circumstances that might unlock something new," he added.

^ Thanks. Crossing my fingers for today's drawing.
So, I only own Blunderbuss on vinyl. It has limited my listening to times that I'm in my home office, working on my computer. Of course I have listened to many Youtubes of the songs too, while at work, but I haven't played out the album yet. My two favorite tracks are the cover of "I'm Shaking" and "Trash Tongue Talker" and how they’re placed back to back on the album. Actually, the entire album is quite fantastic. I love how the first single "Love Interrupted" was recorded without a drummer. I believe that the no drums and lyrics speak volumes about his relationship with his former White Stripes counterpart. Also, the Amex video of the title track “Blunderbuss” is a beautiful complement to that fantastic song. That song is very vulnerable and honest; it must have been incredibly hard to write and then record such lyrics. Anyways, I feel in love with the album the very first time that I heard it, on the live stream, but I do believe that the album will last the test of time.
With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.
I didn't search the thread, so sorry if this has been posted before. Marc Maron's WTF podcast featured Jack White last month and it was a pretty good interview. Check it out here: http://www.wtfpod.com/podcast/episod...9_-_jack_white
I particularly liked the part of the podcast where Jack talks about how "I'm Shaking" ended up on the record.
Boring, overrated

Really enjoyed the podcast, Jack's a pretty cool cat and the analog tape stuff was interesting. Made me think back to the Dark Side of the Moon documentary, where they discussed doing the clocks and stuff on analog.
And I for one am very happy "I'm Shaking" made it onto the record. Great song, was disappointed not to hear it live.
Dead Weather would have been okay with a better drummer.
Seriously shitty garage music. With the millions of awesome garage bands, I will never understand why this guy took off.
