Okay so I have no idea why there isn't a thread about this fuckin awesome AND FUN festival. The festival is a smaller one that happens in Austin and the fest is usually 1/3 indie rock, 1/3 older punk, and 1/3 rap.

I went last year. It was awesome. I got a really cheap airfare from Austin to Phoenix on Southwest or Frontier or something, and stayed at the La Quinta Inn which was fine and only a block or two walking from the festival.

But I sadly won't be going this year, because I already have a trip to New York/Connecticut scheduled for mid-November.

It's in a different, much smaller park. It sold out last year, but at the last minute. Last year it was a bit too big for it's own britches, we'll see how this year turns out. Great f'ing lineup though.

That is a nice lineup, I was really impressed with last year's as well and have heard nothing except positive reviews about this festival.

F'cking tempted once again.. The 1st week in November IS a good time to take a trip down south.

Im buying my tixs next week. Ive never been to Austin and i have family there, its a great excuse for a free dinner.

Tix are 80 with tax for the weekend on the presale, I am about to buy mine now. Last year i went for a day and it was fun, Kool Keith was the shit and lots of punk shit was happening. Its also easy as fuck to get backstage, I was sitting on the speaker for Kool Keith. Crystal Castles will be nuts with its setup, I just hope its at night.

Nothing will compare to their Bonnaroo set though. I may take that back though.
