I saw the Downtown Independent Show of Nosaj thing.

I talked to Nosaj thing ,he said he isn't playing coachella and then i asked what about Dolab he said probably during the day if he even does play in the dolab.

Also i asked about other shows with the type of light show i saw that night and he said there is no plans of now.Its hard to find the right place to have that type of Light Show.

yeah I went. It was alright.... Nosaj is definitely talented in what he does and makes really interesting beats. It was just kind of boring, I couldn't really get into it. There was no visuals either so that might have helped. Also, The Loft is a pretty strange venue. It was my first time there and I am kinda mixed about the place. The stage is too low and you can't really see unless you are up front. I guess The Gaslamp Killer showed up, but I couldn't tell. There was someone screaming in the mic every now and then and I think it was him.

I wish I had better stuff to say about the night, but I don't .

That's too bad. I really enjoy his album so seeing him with or without visuals makes very little difference to me. I thought he was great opening for Fever Ray a few months back. Yes, The Loft is quite odd. I think the venue itself is great- I've seen Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip there as well as Busdriver. I was in the front for both which I really liked cause I could see everything going on up there. Friendly Fires there would have been so great, I was bummed when that show was cancelled. I thought The Loft was strange due to the crowd. Very young and just kind of retarded when it came to being at a show- especially at Busdriver. A lot of the crowd at that show annoyed the fuck out of me, they were going completely apeshit for Busdriver and I highly doubt most of them knew shit when it came to his music. Very odd group of people.

Yeah this exactly. It was a very mixed crowd but not in a good way. The opener Osal8 was playing really bad dubstep imo and the crowd was going nuts for nothing.

But it must be the location, yeah? Those particular college kids in attendance didn't come across as knowing shit about music and even less about how to enjoy a show. My brother and I were just looking at them then each other and giving one another the "WTF" face.

I was at the Loft last night as well. Nosaj was alright, I was really happy that he played the remix he did of Camel, but overall the show wasn't very stimulating. And jesus christ the opening acts sucked.
