Yeah, last year. I like the idea of it in a park.
Glass Candy are playing F Yeah Fest.

Well shit. This sucks. Missing them yet again, it appears.
For your health

But that's not true

FYeah was my first LA concert experience.
Definitely going to try and go, esp if Deerhunter is playing.
F yeah fest last year was pretty solid, except for the inability to leave and go right back in. I hope now that since its going to be in a park this year, they'll have a bigger headliner.
I wouldn't doubt if Mika Miko is there again this year
Times New Viking is playing FYF

Well from the get go, I got there late to begin with (right after the mae shi's set) and when I saw that No Age had a limited 10" for sale I knew I had to have it but I didn't have any cash so I had to walk across the street for an ATM...I don't remember the act before Matt and Kim but at that time, the line was crazzzzy outside and it took me about an hour and a half to get back in
Times new viking is a plus...
They need:
Ponytail
Danananakryod (*spell check)
Titus Andronicus
...
I really have a feeling they're going to get a pretty solid headliner this year with it being at a park and all (as mentioned before)
Did they actually get the park? That's awesome.
Yeah, if you get there late, you're going to probably have to wait. That's what happens with getting to a show late. Show up early and you don't have to worry. I don't mean to sound douchey, but those early bands are well worth it. The Mae Shi was one of those bands just one year prior, as was No Age.
So if you are interested in knowing more about the California State Historic park Huell Howser does a great piece on it...
I learned so many interesting facts about the park.
