You mind at least posting a video or something? Maybe a description of their music? That might incline people to actually discuss them rather than assume you're some 30-something year old A&R rep typing behind a cubicle trying to hype some band because you'll get paid for it.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * The Flaming Lips perform The Soft Bulletin - Bimbo's 365 in SF on February 21st
    * Jeff Mangum - Fox Theater in Oakland on April 10th

Five Years of Coachella Glory: 2007 - 2011 (skipping 2012, maybe I'll be back in '13?)

Show on Thursday was Ridiculous. So joyful and full of energy. This group doesn't perform like a band, its more like a family (crowd and band) playing their hearts out around a camp fire.

video from the other night...(not my video, was too euphoric to take a video during show)

i was there! i had never heard them before that day, but i was impressed. i was a little bummed that some of the instruments we're completely drowned out (i couldn't hear the accordion or piano at all) but i think thats kind of to be expected with so many people/instruments in the band.. i mightve just been standing in weird spot too.. but yeah, really good vibes and energy. i feel ya on the 'family' thing.. by the end of the show there were at least 30 people from the crowd on the stage all singing and dancing and grabbing instruments.. it was insane! but yeah i hope to catch them again

I am very stoked for this performance at Treasure Island, but I don't think I can wait that long so its looking likely I will be seeing them at The Independent on the 15th of this month. Is anyone else planning on going to that show?

Here is one of my favorites by them:

WOW these guys (and girls) are seriously the real deal live. I've rarely ever seen a too cool for school kcrw card wielding LA crowd get down for a show quite like this. the soldout el rey was rocking and completely hush for the ballads (minus couple resident douchebags). There was even a marriage proposal on stage. This group is like the lovechild of polyphonic spree/gogol bordello/arcade fire/flaming lips/and a crazy cult hippie band of gypsies. I can totally see them on the outdoor stage at Coachella before the group that takes the Sunset slot.

Interesting this band. Fun, entergetic and engaging. One drawback did anyone else feel like the banter between songs/during songs was really akward. I felt like I was watching a puppet show.
