This CD nearly fucking killed me. I'm not even kidding. It's a miracle I'm even sitting here. I reached over to grab this CD from my front seat while driving, and I looked down for 2 seconds to make sure I grabbed the right one. Whatever the hell happened next is a total blur, but I was definitely going 60+ mph, and I definitely ended up swerving across all 3 lanes of the Julia Tuttle Causeway. And, at some point during all that, I was definitely facing the wrong way, looking at the oncoming traffic. Next thing I know I'm at a complete stop in the emergency lane, facing exactly the way I should be facing, almost like nothing at all happened. Not a scratch on me or my car, and I didn't hit anyone else, thank God. I honestly have no idea how because it was pretty much bumper to bumper the whole way across the causeway.

Needless to say, I'm a complete asshole for taking my eyes off the road, which is something I'm never doing again, not to grab some french fries, not to find my phone, and certainly not to change fucking CDs.

I will always remember this CD as the one that nearly fucking killed me.

Eeesh - The Julia Tuttle is a nasty little place for an accident too. A few feet away from watery death above an artificial coral reef pretty much everywhere you look.


But on another note, I've never heard BH before. I've heard nothing but good things and that "if you like... you might like" post the other day compared em to Deerhoof (a personal fave that melted my face off last night.)


Is that an accurate description? Should I just shut up and download it anyway?

That's not quite an accurate description. Deerhoof are more freewheeling than Blonde Redhead. Blonde Redhead remind me of Evol or Sister era Sonic Youth, in all the best ways possible.
