however, i did park in a horrible parking lot where they jammed all the cars in( i was in one of those hollywood bowl parking situations) and it sucked. left the event at quarter to two and had to sit in a parking lot till around 3:15 when the group of people and car next to us are determined to get out (bunch of girls rolling) there was a big ass chain link fence, just so happened the spot directly across from the girls car was an empty space, time to break down the fence. i mean....the owners of the lot trapped everyone in there and most were probably stuck there till 7am. fence broken down, girls try driving over it fuck up there car and almost take the fence with um and a big as pole with concrete slab. anyways, they get out...we get out. FUCK YOU PARKING LOT

i really wish i just sat in the traffic and just parked in the big dirt lot for $15

Yeah when mattpatch sent me a text at 6 that he'd be in soon and another an hour later that they were parking that was my warning that I wouldn't make it in for Evol Intent unless I took a different route. It was great meeting you. Where'd you wander off before Roni Size? They needed to turn the mic down. POTD were great as always. Glad I got my drum and bass fix in last night.

    excellent sound and production
multiple water stations at each stage, very convenient
    water was $3

I wish DJ Falcon actually started at 8, though
Obama's Acceptance Speech into "So Much Love To Give" = Epic
Treasure Fingers and Laidback Luke were bomb too
    Glitch Mob destroyed my face
Skream and Benga back to back and like a million rewinds

    hot damn

i got there about 6pm, but it only took me about 5 minutes to get from the freeway to get parked.. i wound up about 2 or 3 cars from the main entrance in the dirt parking lot.. there was zero people in the will call line when i walked up, and the line to get in was about 5 people when i walked up.. btw, THAT'S how you do things Gary..

so glad i got to run into some of you, alex, shaker, andrew, etc..

btw, TC for Coachella 2010 is all i can say... wow. Benga vs Skream for 2hrs was pretty intense as well, just camped in front of the right speaker stacks at the railing.. intense bass

awesome seeing the worship dude from ********* on the main field (along with a couple friends of his)

pretty much every tent i walked into from the time i got there was playing the best shit ever, crazy..

the production in the upside down room & big top tent were amazing!!! (even though the upside down room was like a sauna haha), and alice's house was sooooo much fun (& a/c'd).. i think i heard some of the craziest drops ever last night.. some off the wall stuff too, like a remix of Sprach Zarathrustra, and i think i heard some Ludwig Van as well..

KRY-LON, EC Twins, end of Patricio into the beginning of Kill the Noise,
Eli Smith into DJ Falcon, TC, Benga vs Skream for 2hours, some of Planet of the Drums, Rusko, end of Rabbit in the Moon, Pendulum (DJ SET 1,000,000x YAY!!) were the highlights for me, caught a bunch of others, but those were the best ones imo..

but one fucked up story to relate.. alex & i were off to the side of the dnb building, we were getting out some party favors when this plain clothed dude walks up to me, flashes a badge, and tells me to show him whats in my hands.. i'm a quick-thinker, and luckily sober at that moment, so there were no probs, but it was a close one, and i've never, ever had that (or heard of that) happening before.. fucked up..

    1. Your getting in story is vastly different from mine. I got a text from Shaker at 7 when we were still on the way saying that the will call line was closed. My first reaction was "WTF?!" This is something that I expect from HARD not Insomniac. When we go to the will call line they werent letting people through the chainlink gate and we had to wait for about 10 minutes until the decided to let people in one at a time. Thank god we cut because that shit was retarded. What a fucking shit show.

Then another fiasco at pat downs and we are stuck in the line with the nazi security guard who is doing super detailed pat downs. After being 5 people away from getting in and waiting for 10 minutes I moved to the next line over where the security guard was trying to explain to this retard of a kid how to sneak a backpack in. Typical.

    2. What is TC?

The dubstep stage was bumpin all night. Benga was having issues with the bass from the speakers bumping the needle and it was painful to listen to. Rusko was GREAATT. Too many rewinds and the MC was TERRIBLE. But aside from that really really great.

I didn't get to catch much of Roni Size due to some drama trying to find my friend that was drunker than drunk, i caught his intro and a couple drops here and there... certain acts i just can never seem to see complete sets from. DJ Falcon and Green Velvet were my favorite's from the night, Laidback Luke killed it with some good tracks too. The music all last night was just perfect, minus the needle at the Queens Grounds, the production was amazing and i had an amazing time.

    Last night was pretty amazing.

It took us like and hour and a half to drive like 2 miles to get from the hotel to the dirt parking lot. After we found parking we got in right away without a problem.

It was nice meeting everyone that I hadn't met before and its always a pleasure to see everyone else.

Green Velvet was amazing and I hadn't ever seen RITM and I was blown away.

My friend went missing for most of the night so that was kind of stressful but he eventually showed up at the car.

Other than that the night was great.

Also, I ended up walking back to the hotel with this random group.

We had this amazing moment where we realized that due to chemicals, our pupils were wide fucking open, and we could see EVERYTHING even though there were not lights whatsoever and it was pitch fucking black. It was rad.

but all i can really say is: lsd + rabbit in the moon = holy fucking wow!!! i remember thinking about how they put so much effort into making the show trippy as possible (ex. the eyeball scepter!) and thus i was quite grateful =]

and of course it was lovely seeing so many of you again and then meeting a bunch for the first time.. i must say you guys have a knack for creating good vibes.. anyway ive had only a couple hours of sleep and i think i shall spend the rest of the night playing monopoly but i'm sure the reminiscences will be flowing through this thread for a while.. until then!

yeah, after an hour or two inside i ran into alex and he said something similar.. i can only guess that the comps went down shortly after i went in.. like i said, i took Mill St. exit = zero traffic (3 or 4 cars max), there were one person in each of the 8 or so Will Call lines, and i went straight for the security pat-down line that moved the fastest (turned out to be an awesome black dude who looked down with the ganj and not down with feeling up weird white dudes = win).. but i was from freeway to inside fest in under 10-15min.

    2. What is TC?
WTF?!?! wow.. i randomly bumped into Shaker while cruising through this tent, and i was amazed.. surely you've heard the track "Where's My Money?".. that's TC.. it was in the dnb tent, but it was more like hiphopdubelectro with TC being the mc..

yeah, i agree too many rewinds on the dub stage all night really.. and yeah the mc during skream & benga was gettin pissed, i think the djs just started to fuck with him for fun..

i also watched a bottle of water dance to Kill the Noise.. weirdest thing, the bottle was set on the edge of the stage by i guess an event staffer, and as soon as the set started the bass was so intense that the bottle just started spinning around in circles like crazy, water all splashing out of it and everything.. must have watched it for a good ten minutes expecting the bass to slowly push it off stage, but somehow the pounding speakers actually made the bottle dance TOWARDS the speakers.. my drug-infused mind was boggled hahaha

and i LOVE that there was the worship-dude from ********* (& a couple of his friends) hahaha.. when i saw him i just walked up to him and gave him a big hug
