Very nice poster for AZ, I didn't care too much for the LA poster, and although I liked the shirts I could not justify buying one of those either. I think unless it intrigues I am slowly starting to get over band merch. =(

I know what you mean. I used to need a shirt for every show I went to. Now, I rarely even look at them.

Yeah I started realizing that I end up wearing all of them to sleep or to the gym and than I went "why the fuck did I buy this for $30?"

I'm kind of over posters now because they cost way too much to frame and are too easily damaged before said framing.

I didn't used to buy shirts ever besides the occasional Coachella lineup shirt, but now I also have shirts from Glasto, Jarvis, St. Vincent, Asobi Seksu (three!), Radiohead (one official, one un), and Animal Collective ($5 bootleg).

What did the LA poster look like? I like the alpaca poster from last year's El Rey show.

I want that Grizzly Bear cat shirt.

Band t-shirts make the bulk of the t-shirts (and shirts in general) that I wear, especially when I leave the house.

Also I can't imagine paying $30 for a t-shirt; I know I've payed $25 in the past but now-a-days I balk at $20 unless it is a fantastic looking t-shirt for a band I love in a size that fits.

That's one of the unfortunate things when it comes to the concert going in Los Angeles, merch tends to be a little more expensive. That is aside from the $12-$18 drinks and the $10-20 parking.

I'm talking about the average concert goer that goes to a show and does everything at a more convenient pace. Those are the people that normally pay for parking Chris, normal people.

Saw St. Vincent at the RR in PHX on
    Thursday night!
That skinny bitch kicks so much ass!
Great show and surprisingly sold out show in PHX!
Good work PHX! Maybe we will finally start getting some
respect and get some weekend shows.
Fuck LA their crowds don't deserve weekend shows.

Did anyone notice the difference in tracklistings between the cd/digital and vinyl versions? Just the Same but Brand New as a proper closer is brilliant. Wonder why it's only like that on vinyl...a reward for listening to that format? No, probably just timing issues.

Can't wait for the album and Vancouver shw. Saw her 18 months ago.

Not sure what I think of the album cover yet. it's memorable and effective, but kinda fugly. Prefer something with her face on it like the other 2.

.. Crystal Ballroom is also an odd choice for her.
edit: well, maybe not.. still haven't heard the new stuff.
stoked for the new album. love the cover.
