Phish festival at the coachella site?

sorry if this is in the wrong section, but there are some heavy rumors on a phish message board i frequent talking about a halloween festival at the polo fields. anybody heard any rumblings? thanks.

It would make sense considering they completely skipped so cal.

I know most people on here don't care about Phish but the Empire Polo Field would be an awesome place to see them.

Especially if it was done as a Halloween festival.

^It would be very timely to do Loveless, what with the MBV reunion and such. I was just telling friends the other day that Phish turned me onto MBV. Trey has said that it is one of his favorite albums ever and that he had a vision of perfoming Loveless with 4 or 5 different guitar monitors, all with different outputs. In other words, he wants to play all of the layered guitar parts at once, keen.

Wow that would be insane. I'd be there in an instant (if I could acquire tickets?) I've always hoped they would utilize the polo fields a little more for concerts in the off-season... Phish, meh, I'd enjoy seeing them again...

It's a bit cooler, but still warm. Think Coachella, but about 5-10 degrees cooler. So at coachella it's about 90-100, during late Oct. it's usually 80-90's. It's pretty cold at night though.
