It was always a good deal for a "suggested" donation of $5 then it went to mandatory, and then it went up to $15, yet not upgrading anything else to make the $15 worth it.
last year when Menomena, Broken Social Scene, Black Keys, and Cold War Kids (although I think they suck) played, the $15 ticket seemed pretty worthwhile

they could work on the sound issues a bit though

Hmm, ticketweb has daily tickets for $15, $10 in Goldstar after their service charges it will be about $15.

After service charges on both and all that's probably about a 1 dollar savings.

Unless that's some kind of 2 day pass.

    Edit.

Goldstar is about $14.50 after service charges.

Ticketweb is $18.68 after services charges.

That does sound good but the sound sucking is a huge let down, and like others have said the crowd is crazy packed. Last tiem I went was when Sonic Youth and Sleater Kinney were the headliners and that was a big mistake. Way too many people packed in towards the entrance (at least the entrance i use) so it took sometime to get out but it kind of turned me off.

Since the show list is very minimal...
    August 29 // Chemical Brothers w/ Chromeo & Yacht @ Hollywood Bowl
September 26 // Vampire Weekend w/ Beach House & the Very Best @ Hollywood Bowl
October 5 // ARCADE FIRE @ Henry Miller Library
October 13 // Corin Tucker Band @ The El Rey
(someone should give me Sufjan Stevens tickets, aint got none of those)

I liked Sunday's lineup. Built to Spill were amazing!
