    Willamette Week's MusicfestNW is excited to announce the lineup for this year's festival (listed below)! For more information, including audio and video of this year's bands, be sure to explore the various links on musicfestnw.com.
    Wristbands for this year's MFNW, held September 16th through 19th, are now on sale for $60 and guarantee you no cover admission to all MFNW clubs during the annual 4-day festivity held in Portland, Oregon (age and capacity restrictions may apply). Be sure to check musicfestnw.com/tix for all the details about wristbands, individual tickets, and this year's special VIP pass.

    I'd expect the lineup in the first week of July.

    what an excellent lineup!!!! Id love to see Bad Brains/Monotonix and Sunny Day Real Estate! EITS, Girl Talk....pretty good for a fest in Portland.

    im not familiar with this event. Should I expect any significant add ons (be it quality or quantity)?

    There usually are a few adds. Battles were one band I remember being added last year.

    Seeing them at Pukkelpop (AC and Passion pit) and AC at showbox in Sept. Still hope that Passion Pit play Seattle around Music Fest NW. They're loverly.

    And woah! A wrist band for that much of these bands is a killer deal. Too bad I'm going to be broke for this coming back from Europe. Rooming and booze is the most expensive part of attending. (isn't it always though...)

    Poster show ..............

    The 3rd annual MusicfestNW poster show, presented by Frame Central, takes place at Backspace (115 NW 5th Ave.) August 6th through September 3rd, 2009. The poster show is an exhibition of posters for the upcoming MusicfestNW (September 16-20) and is the visual component to Portland's biggest music festival. This year's exhibition is a showcase of some of the best poster art in the region.
