I'm just saying if you dislike it so much, then why keep focusing on it? Move on to something you do like.

jury is out...gonna give it a few listens then decide.
From what I've heard the album is an absolute disaster
Really not even sure what I just listened to. Some of those songs towards the end were absolutely terrible.

I actually love Supremacy, Follow Me, and Animals. Isolated System is great too.
Panic Station... what the fuck.
The Chris songs... meh.
The Chris songs were the big what the fuck for me. "save me" sounds like a nice healthy mix between linkin park and hoobastank.

It sounds nothing like either of those bands so I'm not sure if you're simply illiterate when it comes to comparisons or if you're just too eager to jump on the hyperbole train.
Nothing too memorable on the first listen other than Supremacy, Chris' songs, and Isolated System. Too many sections trying to sound like Queen or U2. Gonna give it another round.

Rolling Stone still probably gives it 4 stars and all the brosephs jizz at their shows.
I actually expected it to be a lot worse. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's completely awful, but The Resistance was definitely a good exercise in foreshadowing. This new album is indeed lower on the shit ladder, but only by a few rungs.

Chris, are there any songs you enjoy?
I think "Supremacy" and "Follow Me" are decent.
I'm pretty sure Madness is the best song on the album which is pretty sad. At least Coldplay didn't disappoint![]()

The only thing I still enjoy on The Resistance is Exogenesis. At least this time the pop isn't as horrible. I like B-sides like Eternally Missed and Crying Shame and most of the pop songs like Explorers and Big Freeze(way better than Guiding Light) kind of sound in that style with decent hooks.
I just can't understand why they did Panic Station. And Liquid State is bad. Better than The Resistance but barely.
Save Me might be one of the worst songs I have heard in a long time...easily the worst track on a weak album

It's a bastard child of many "funk" influences that should have been aborted. I guess the chorus is catchy but the first minute... holy shit. Sucks that it's probably going to be a live staple.
Some good news I take out of this is Uprising + Resistance were the only songs played at the concert from The Resistance.
Haha, yeah I'm in no way saying the song's good.

All the approval from the Muse forum makes me want to take a bullet to the head.
