American Idol is what it is. I'm all for any platform that gives someone a chance, and I think it would be fascinating to understand the ins and outs of the contracts, production, tour, etc. Say what you will about the show, but can you even imagine standing in a huge line of crazies for the auditions and a few months later ... what a ride. I'd love to see Adam at Coachella next year - but not performing. Maybe in the beer garden. Definitely buy him a beer.
