    Default Rip! A Remix Manifesto

    So this was shared with me and I figured I would share it with you, as I imagine a large number here would be interested. Rip! is a documentary about digital copyright, fair use and to a certain extent free speech laws in America and prominently features Girl Talk. Even if you dont like Girl Talk the documentary is pretty interesting, albeit a bit one sided, and touches on copyright laws and what the future may hold for them, Napster and even the Radiohead In Rainbows business model. The documentary can be downloaded for free (or you can choose to contribute) here.

    There is even some Coachella footage in there.



    Feel free to comment and discuss re: your thoughts on the film's subject matter and digital copyright in the 21st century.

    I heard of this movie a while ago, but I never got around the watching it. Thanks for the reminder.
