I'm thinking of getting my plane ticket this sunday perhaps or monday (they are damn cheap). It'd be nice if we could take the same flight from SF, say around 11-1 to show up around 12-2pm (50 min. flight, right feather?) so we can check into the hotel. relax and get ready for one wild ass night. Also, a rental car for one day isn't a bad idea at all. Cabs are another option but... thats expensive.

let me know what hotels we're looking at and the situations on flights/when you're able to purchase them/etc. lemme know what you guys think.

Ok, the flight from SFO to LAX is ~85 min. Southwest has wicked deals from SFO or OAK to LAX for $60 total, after fees, taxes etc. That's a promotional rate so I'm not sure how long it'll be around for.
Suggested Flights
Southwest from SF to LAX 8/8:
Flight 1315 Departs 11:15am - Arriving at 12:40pm
Flight 1334 Departs 12:35pm - Arriving at 2:00pm

Southwest from OAK to LAX 8/8:
Flight 1912 Departs 11:00am Arrives 12:20pm
Flight 1943 Departs 12:00pm Arrives 1:20pm
Flight 1606 Departs 1:30pm Arrives 2:45pm

It's ~5-6 hours driving from SF to LAX. Given the great flight rates and timing, I'm inclined to fly. And if anyone has another preferred carrier at a comparable rate, let it be known now.

In LA, I'm under the impression the general area we'll be staying is ~10 min from the airport and ~15 min from the venue. A cab split between a few people won't be more than $10/person for any ride.

Hotels:
I'm down to split a room for either or both shows. Pending being able to crash somewhere etc.

JUST BOUGHT MY TICKET!

My life just got a little better. So my tentative plan, since I lack a car and feel the flight to SF is cheap, convenient, and will save my raving energy, I will be flying. I want to fly out of Long Beach to SF, then those going to the HARD show should try and fly together back to LA because we will be getting a hotel together. I know Forzzz, Aj, Jeff and I have been discussing this. I need to look at flights now!

p.s. Looks like SF show will have a great board turn out I truly feel seeing the Prodigy/UW up north will be better than the LA gigs.

p.p.s. I need a place to crash for the show, post-Underworld board sleepover at someones house would be nice.
