    Who should get The Outdoor Theatre sunset time slot next year? (7:15pm)

    Friday- Michael Rose

    Saturday - St. Germain

    Sunday - Los Campesinos

    It was crowded for Fleet Foxes this year. Everyone went straight from TV on the Radio over there.

    As for the question, I say either Bat for Lashes or Dirty Projectors.

    yea, The TV on the Radio -> Fleet Foxes exodus was quite large. Fleet Foxes had a pretty decent crowd.

    as for Dirty Projectors and Bats for Lashes... I dont know if they are "big enough names" for the sunset spot. they seem like afternoon tent bands.

    Not that Connor wasn't good, but Beirut killed in that tent. It was one of those moments when you realize one of your favorite bands has gotten way bigger than you ever thought they would.

    yeah, Pete and Pete. Ive been watching the show the past week and I got a lil carried away with the intro song. There are a lot of guest appearances on that show. I never noticed as a kid. Great show tho!

    Yeah, it was a good show and their album is great. I doubt they'll get together again (though a Miracle Legion reunion is probably likely one day (Polaris was a Miracle Legion side project that was the band minus one member)), but I know Mark Mulcahy still plays a few of those songs live, though he never seems to play outside of new england. The other two members were in Frank Black & the Catholics, but since they broke up I think both have retired from music.

    But yeah, I'll second Polaris 2010.

    Sufjan is just too big I think at this point. But he could still do it. It would be, what, his first performance in 3-4 years by then?

    My vote is Grizzly Bear... I think it's a possibility.

    And I won't lie, I would really love to see Feist on the Outdoor as well.

    The Outdoor was incredibly packed this year for Leonard Cohen. But I saw some great acts there this year (Antony and the Johnsons, Drive By Truckers ), and I was able to get close or on the rail, no problem.
