Will there be a Sunset Street Junction in Silverlake California this year? I have heard some of the local merchants are pissed about how it has been run. Also, the ticket prices have gone way up and are not a "voluntary donation" anymore.

I have not heard anything Ken but I really really hope so. I don't care how much it costs. If anything, make them expensive as to ensure it comes back this year better than ever.
I just hope it's not the same weekend as OSL/Street Scene, that would be epicly shitty...
It's set for August 22nd and 23rd. I posted the same article in the other Sunset Junction thread:

Good, even though the local merchants are bitching and complained to Councilman Eric Garcetti's office.
However, it should be FREE, as some of the posts on that article indicate.
I am starting to think this festival is going on hiatus in 2009.
