They aren't big enough to play a stadium here.

Who remembers the Rock For Choice show with Fugazi and L7?

RIP Magazine 5th Anniversary party, Hollywood Palladium, October 5, 1991

    in order:

    Screaming Jets
Pearl Jam (Eddie made some snarky comment about people in the audience passing the homeless in their limo, pretentious asshole, I doubt he still travels to the gigs in a van)
    Thunder (they got booed)
Alice In Chains, introduced by Slayer, Duff McKagan plays on Man In The Box
    Spinal Tap with Joe Satriani
Soundgarden (Chris Cornell walked around the venue then out the door on the balcony then back thru the stage door during a 20 minute long Searching With My Good Eye Closed)
Temple Of The Dog 2 songs, 1 with Jerry Cantrell

crowd booing because Metallica was on the bootleg T-shirts, Lonn Friend crying when the show is over

    Who remembers this?

If I had known Neil Young would have replaced Eddie Vedder for most of the show at Golden Gate Park 1995 I would have made the trip. Still bummed LA didn't get a Mirrorball show.

November 20th to 27th. But I will also be in the Pacific Northwest for Thanksgiving, so I think I am going to see them in Portland, if possible.

Well, if you want to see them in Phoenix, you have a place to crash. Although that'll be cutting it close.

So happy they're finally coming back to Phoenix after 10 years. I've loved traveling around the country to shows, but it's going to be awesome to finally see them here at home again.

That's pretty impressive that Pearl Jam's been alluding to you at all, much less for several years. What have the allusions been? Did they have a song called "Captain Crazy" on a recent album?

They had a song called Loveboat Captain on Riot Act. I am thinking that must be it.

That last Phoenix show was so good. Seeing them play Indifference for the first time in the second encore in what was still almost 100 degrees heat was one of the most surreal experiences I've had out of the 19 times I've seen them.

I'd totally come out for this if it was on a weekend.
