I will be going to Documenta12 in Kassel next month. I am thrilled, despite the lukewarm responses this time 'round. I will be participating in a couple of roundtables about real-time installation/media works that I'm pretty excited about. Mostly, it's a pretty legendary show and I'm excited to get to see the work and talk to some of the people involved in the process.
I'm also in the preliminary stages of my thesis project that will be shown in Seattle next Spring. We are working the details through with two different galleries and I'll post the details when they arise. I can't say a whole lot now because it's constantly evolving... however, I'm working on building a couple of real-time stereoscopic/3d video rigs that will be implemented into the piece. It will be a performative piece that 4 people will view at a time... Might be interesting.
