just a couple of observations...


1. to all the coach bitching about do lab or outdoor sound bleeding: I'm standing NEXT to the speaker stacks in the Mojave (excuse me, the Mustang stage), and Miranda Lambert on the Main is actually Louder than Ralph Stanley a few feet away... that's right, sound bleeding from the 'Mane' was so bad in the Mojave that standing next to the speaker stacks didn't help... sad. But please bring Ralph Stanley back again next year (hopefully in the Sahara, i mean, the Palamino)

2. is ABC/Soapnet really the best sponsor??

I agree, that sound bleed during Miranda Lambert was annoying. I just got as close to Ralph Stanley as possible until I could barely hear her.

I remember last year the ABC/Soapnet tent was the kid's adventure. They moved the kids to a tiny make shift tent this year.

and another thing, Coachella has NEVER been as crowded as Saturday night was at Stage this past whatever...

remember getting to the Sahara when Madonna was on? the entire grounds was like that... fucking insane... it was all those gold circle shit and every person brought a chair and spread out blankets and took up all the room in front of main, which left a couple of small walkways jammed with 50,000 people... sucked. because of that, it was waay worse packed than in '07 with Rage...

Anytime there's a clusterfuck of cowboys, just crank up "Boot Scootin' Boogie" and they'll all form a line and start dancing methodically back into order. Works like a charm!
