Salah, arcade fire fans won't hate crime you like kid rock fans.
Good point.
We can't be trusted around sporting equipment though.

For those of you in the LA/OC area, there's gonna be a BBQ fest in Santa Monica. Might be a lot of the same participants as Stagecoach. If that's the case, yum.
Not to bump a totally dead conversation or anything, but a friend of mine just uploaded a video that I think conveys what an Arcade Fire show is actually like way better than I ever could.
It took a minute to figure out how a country music sex assault thread got taken over by the Arcade Fire... regardless, they make intelligent, beautiful, powerful music. Anyone who thinks they saved music is an idiot but they sure do it justice.
Their sex assaults are the best ones of all, too.
Is there anything they can't do better than most?
Check that, I hear Winn weaves an embarrassing basket.
Fail. They just can't fail.
'Cause they're made of Win.
I see what you did there.
Only one 'n'?
One "N". From "Edwin".
Shite basket-weaving aside, they also cannot cover Joy Division. That didn't stop them trying with truly excruciating results.
Fun Stagecoach-related fact - I have actually been to parties held in actual barns.
One "n". Noted.
I too have been to parties in actual barns. I remains to be seen if that's something to be proud of or a sad indication of the conditions surrounding my formative years.
My dad recently bought his first pick up truck.
Yee haw?
Now that I think of it, he's built a new shed too, so I guess there's been a venue upgrade.
Say what you will about the Nazis, they put on a hell of a rally.

i shoot all the shows you want to go to
That review of the SM BBQ fest is a whole lot different than the Stagecoach experience. That Stagecoach BBQ is ridiculous. They have all sorts of advanced cookers with space age technology. The food was hot and deliciousi never saw any waiting at all. Hopefully the SM one improves since that review was written.
I dunno. It seems somehow counter to the spirit of the thing to have hi-tech BBQs...
Why doesnt Coachella serve that?? Hipsters like BBQ, dont they???

You're right. They eat tofu stir-fry (not that theres anything wrong with that. I fucking LOVE tofu) and Taco Bell. But I thought theyd wanna be ironic or something. I cant really tell you what a hipster does or thinks. I'm a Lame-O!

It's hard to tell where BBQ falls on the continuum. Like... trucker hats are ironic and cool, so maybe full on kegger-q's are in too now?
