Haha.. make it happen... and i do believe there have been rumors as to a Pulp reunion. They are the perfect festival band! I am not jesus christ, but i have the same initials.... who writes that shit... JARVIS IS THE MAN! ! ! ! ! ! I was thrown out of a pulp show for throwing Hersheys Kisses on stage. It was meant as a gesture of respect, but the bouncers did not share my viewpoint...so to speak

Seriously, they were the ultimate festival band. Their summer tours were almost entirely at festivals. And now that American't has festivals, we have no Pulp, go figure.

I'm family friends with James Fearnley (accordion player from the Pogues) and I see him at Coachella every year, he goes with this two teenage daughters.

I don't know about the rest of the band, but I'm sure at least he would be thrilled to play to the polo fields.

I wasnt a big fan of Pulp until I saw them live. THey are fucking awesome live. They should return i can imagine how great they would be tearing up the main stage at sunset.

Hell yes. Pulp neeeeeds to come back for us. and Patti Smith is touring this year. I'm seeing her at Exit in Serbia in July, so maybe she'll save some energy for Coachella next year.

Jarvis Cocker Goes 'Greek' For 'Sarah Marshall' Spinoff

Jarvis Cocker has penned three songs tipped to be included in the upcoming film "Get Him to the Greek," a spinoff of the hit 2008 comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

The former Pulp frontman is writing material to be performed by Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow, a hapless rock star who is about to open a huge tour at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre. Cocker tells Billboard.com that what he's written so far is "rather silly, but it's a silly film." "Get Him to the Greek," which also stars Jonah Hill and Rose Byrne, is expected to be out in 2010.

Last week, the artist wrapped a short tour in support of his second solo album, "Further Complications," with a sold-out show in Brooklyn, N.Y., and an appearance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." Three more European festival gigs are on tap in August.

As for other upcoming projects, Cocker says he'd like to reprise the series of musical events he held in May at a Paris gallery, where he and his band jammed with fans and improvised music for everything from a dance party to a yoga class. He's eyeing doing it all again at a London art fair in November, but details have yet to be confirmed.

Cocker admits Pulp, which hasn't performed since 2002, is frequently offered opportunities to reunite. So far, such an endeavor hasn't held much appeal for him, but he says, "I better decide for sure pretty soon, because otherwise, I'll be too old."
