yah really I saw two helpings of it this year and the first one I almost stepped right into because I was looking for my buddy who was supposed to be waiting by the hand sanitizer by the porta potty next to the outdoor theatre, but these two girls saved me by screaming "waaatch out" so thank you again ladies.

If you see people eating shitty food, abusing their bodies with illicit substances and warm beer, and dancing around in the punishing heat, you have to assume there's at least the slightest chance a few of them are going to leave behind a wet, chunky souvenir.

I'm sure it's a gas to commune with nature and feel the (relative) coolness of the grass between your filthy toes. But as glorious as Coachella is (and it really, really is!), it's also a fucking mine field out there. Sooner or later you run the very serious risk of stepping on something vile. It's up to you whether it benignly touches the bottom of your shoe or burns holes in the soles of your feet.

(I haven't left a deposit at Coachella, but I did pee in an elevator once.)
