87 days away.
Let's face it, nothing would be better than Radiohead and Daft Punk The Smiths.

Damn. Looks good to me.
Nice work...you are probably right on, with maybe a few more well knowns...
Blur is a lock..however, this will do.
Eddie is going to play 2 days?
i like it man.. heres mine

Have there ever been any ambient artists? Fennesz? Tim Hecker? Wiliam Basinski?
What's Brian Eno up to? Let's get that mother fucker on the phone.
And what about something mildly edgier? Throbbing Gristle was a little too weird for mass appeal, but MBV pushed things forward (if you want to say that) with 15 STRAIGHT MINUTES of harsh noise on the MAIN FUCKING STAGE.
So... Merzbow in the Sahara next year?
haha.
What about a great hardcore band like Melt Banana? The No Age pit this year proved that moshing is fun, even at 1:45pm in the desert...
1 Coachella before I got sober, 7 since. I support both versions. If you wanna do the sober version, roll with us:

Do Nas and Damian deserve that billing? Sorry I'd rather have him on the outdoor like PE's slot...by himself. Also not a fan of The Who as headliners...but what do I know. Other than that love it

Coachella regular from 1999, 2004, 2006-2009
i would jizz myself
Daft Punk + Prodigy + Royksopp + Basement Jaxx + LCD Soundsystem = My brain spontaneously exploding.
BTW - I'll be your best friend if you add 'Chew Fu' to this lineup.
Awesome lineup and poster. I dig the colors. I'd be very content with those artists.
good poster
My predictions:
David Bowie (I think it's the year)
Daft Punk
Arcade Fire
Other acts:
Sulfan Stevens or however you spell his name
George Clinton and Parliment Funkadelic (I will push this until it happens. Could you imagine George Clinton playing right before Daft Punk. Shit would be insane)
Street Sweeper
Queens of The Stone Age
Flying Lotus
Erykah Badu
The Whip
Balkan Beat Box
The Lions
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
Worth saying that, even if Arcade Fire are touring by then, and even if next album wins over that stubborn remainder of the human race, they're still not a lock for next year.
The way they paint it, touring in 2007 kicked the shit out of them, and I reckon they'll be cutting way, way back on the number of festivals they play this time around now that they can afford to be choosy.
Just a thought.
I dunno about AF...I don't think they're going to have anything out by then. From what I understand, they aren't even recording anything right now. Maybe 2011.
From what I gather, Win & Régine have been working since late last year, Cap'n, with breaks to do the score for Richard Kelly's thing, and visit the Partners in Health place in Haiti, and whatever. The rest of the band have been onboard since earlier this year.
Looking to have #3 at the end of this year, start of next one.

Thar you go. It would probably be more widely known if they did more English language interviews.
They got together to play the Obama party too, but Richard's made it clear they won't be touring again as Arcade Fire until the thing is recorded.
I would love to see Pearl Jam headline a Sat night. If this was the real poster i would be very pleased. 2010 seems so far away ugh
i have a feeling the queens of the stone age will be there next year, and throw in primus for good measure.
July 21- Soundgarden- Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
July 30- Rage Against the Machine/Muse- LA Coliseum
Oct 21- Portishead- Berkeley Greek
Nov 18- Pixies- Fox Theater Bakersfield
Great poster. I was working on a lineup to throw on top of one of your old backgrounds. Kind of like this one, except more optimistic (Bowie, Pulp, Knife).
Feist really should be there next year. Sunset at outdoor would be so win.
I would love this.
