While waiting for Dre & Snoop week 2:
Guy: "Where are you from girl?"
Girl: "I'm from California, what about you?"
Guy: "California? Really? Well I'd like to get freaky with you like you're from California"
The crowd around these two stopped their own conversations and just looked at the guy like he was an idiot
Standing in line for security check, I stood next to two middle-aged+ very butch lesbians. In front of them was a girl, the daughter, looked around...20...maybe younger. The two women were holding beers and were all over each other. The women started talking to the guy next to me, something about preferring women. The guy said "I like woman too!" and high fived them.
One lesbian says, drunkenly, "turns out my daughter likes women too, although she is learning that she likes BOTH men and women!"
Honestly, the daughter looked like the type of awkward, nerdy, quiet girl I'd see sitting in the back of my English Lit classes. After her mom said this she just kind of smiled awkwardly while her mom drunkenly laughed and crawled all over her partner.
Ok maybe it wasn't funny, in fact, it was down-right unsettling and for some reason made me feel very sorry for the young girl.
Guy 1: Wait, who's that on stage?
Guy 2: That's Tupac, dude!
Guy 1: I thought he was dead...who am I thinking of? Isn't he dead?
Guy 2: Yeah, he's dead.
Guy 1: You just fucking said he was on stage!
Guy 2: Yeah...who am I thinking of? Wait, who the fuck IS that?
Weekend 1 obviously before the hologram was all over the news. And these two were high as hell.
06, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, going 2013 weekend 1
Every night, among the throng of people going back to camp, there would inevitably be a group of people singing loudly off key. Nathan and I would mock them by singing "I NEED ATTENTION!! GIVE ME ATTENTION! I'M SINGING ONLY FOR ATTENTION!!"
That usually shut them up pretty quickly.
wish i didnt miss it week one, would have liked to have had that wtf experience myself
do you have a picture of these two? they are revealing the secret gay agenda and must be "taken care of"...
seriously tho that is so fucked up. that poor girl
i just purchased my ticket and i know it's still a year away but oh my gosh i am so freaken excited i'm pissing glitter. :O najahed
I saw a snake on the field near the Gobi. I was sitting down next to the tent, and then look over to my left and there was this light brown snake just chilling there...kinda scary, like oh shit...then some security lady came over and scooped it up. Very strange.
I could check our cameras to see if anyone in my group took photos while in line, but I doubt it. And yeah, it really left me with a very...unsettled feeling. Something about the whole situation was very wrong.
Oh yeah, on a lighter note. Before ATDI started, a train was snaking through the crowd with a guy holding his hat high so everyone could follow him. Some loud tall dude next to me started yelling "THERE HE IS. WITH THE HAT. FOLLOW THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GUY! EVERYONE FOLLOW THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GUY"
I laughed
In the huge crowd of people leaving Dre and Snoop's show on weekend 1 through the narrow gates closest to the ferris wheel (not sure why we decided to go that way) one girl was having sort of a panic attack and was asking her friends if they could please sit down, her friends obviously told her she was crazy, they would have definitely gotten trampled in a crowd like that. Also, one guy started making zombie noises as we were being pushed around in the huge mass of people and a hug crowd of people started to make the same sounds. That made me laugh a little, the panic attack girl just kinda freaked me out. Im glad she got out ok.
Drugged out girl: after talking nonsense for 10 minutes straight she says "I feel like I'm funneling all my thoughts into you and I don't know what you are thinking."
Drugged out guy; "nothing"
Everyone looking at my shirt and yelling, "JUSTIIIICCCEE!!!!" as a way to express they're love for Justice. The funny part is when I would look at them and say this shirt says "Justice LEAGUE" and see how upset they're faces turned into.
Almost forgot about this one
Guy walks up and asks our group “Did you find an iphone in your tent?”. Im like "In my tent?" He says "In any of your tents." Turns out he fell asleep in his own tent, then woke up in another one. Had a freaked out Panic attack and ran and left his phone in it. He couldn’t find the tent for two days and was still looking. lol
drunk bitches...my favorite kindthese girls were reassuring their friend, "you're an amazing person!!!! fuck that guy!!!"
No Shirt

It takes a fast car, lady,
To lead a double life.
haha I don't think anyone should have. My shirt even had all the Justice League Super Heros lined up on it. At some point I actually gave up telling people what my shirt was really about and just cheered with them.
(hahah. Apparently I posted that story with my weekend 2 wristband registration id)
I overheard this bro in the Sahara tent saying "that dude was madbrowing me bro! So I madbrowed him right back!" his friend laughs and they high 5 then he continues "don't be madbrowing me! I will take you right here right now! YOU WANT ME TO RAW DOG YOU BRO!?!"
insanity.... that was only one of the many things i saw/heard at the Sahara tent.
While walking to the lot 10 showers I passed by 2 girls talking and caught the small bit of dialogue spoken from one girl to the other in a matter of fact tone.... "Every girl deserves to be treated like a princess.. A PRINCESS!"
That was all I caught but I felt bad for any dudes they came to Coachella with
hell yeah this thread's still alive.
one of the first things i saw on friday was two grown ass men, obviously high or drunk or something, looking up at eachother and at the same time singing "Bear Necessities". well kind of.. the only words they knew seemed to be "bear necessities" the rest was just mumbling followed by stokedness/hugging/friendship. it was beautiful
I'm legitimately concerned that none of you have ever actually witnessed anything humorous.
