so obvious....posting here is all we are capable of.
Maybe they just like Dre and Snoop. "Knowing" Tupac is not a prerequisite for liking other artists. I don't think it is, anyway. Can we get someone to verify the validity of this claim?
And no, it's not "pretty funny." In fact, it's the opposite. Have you been drinking the water out there? Not a good idea.

IDK, I question why someone would be at a music festival if they didn't know about 2pac. That would be the same if someone asked who was Curt Cobain, Elvis Presley, or Jimi Hendrix. Or if someone shelled out the money to go to a big boxing match but didn't know who Muhammad Ali was. Seems kind of odd to me. That couple, if serious, must have been very casual music fans.

haha whoops that's embarrassing
Haha whenever people ask me for water I gladly give it to them. After they take a gulp I tell them "hey man there's acid in there." Some are glad, some are stoked, some say "WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?! IT'S 11 PM ON A SUNDAY AND I HAVE WORK IN THE MORNING!" So I either comfort or disappoint them by telling them there's nothing in there.
Kinda wish I had that much acid.

Yes, fuck those Canucks. I was a few blocks away, I feel bad for anyone who had to camp close to them. Though they were always nice and inviting anytime I strolled by
For the record: knowing Tupac is a prerequisite for nothing except maybe if you're filling out an application for a position as a Font Of Shitty Rap Knowledge. He has no business sharing a stage with almost any of the acts who were part of that bizarre gangbang on that stage.
There's actually going to be a ten question quiz in the waiting room for tickets next years, naturally Easy E will be one of the answers and the other nine will be strictly related to proper grammar.
Better start studying

Why would anyone know who Tupac is? He died before he could sell out and appear in a family comedy film.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world.

Believe it or not, there's a whole generation of kids who were not blessed to have shared the earth with Tupac like we all were. They know Dr. Dre only as the scary black man who makes them buy shitty headphones. "Death Row" is a place where other scary black men live, not the single greatest record label of all time. They don't know who the fuck Tupac is nor do they have any idea there was a connection between he and Dre and Snoop before these kids were even born. You dumb fuck.
You guys are too much...
I think we can all agree that the fact that someone didn't know who Tupac was isn't funny... I would not laugh at that.
However, you guys are seriously going to argue that it isn't a "...wtf?" moment that someone over the age of 13 has not even the slightest idea who Tupac Shakur is???
I would attempt to bring up examples of other famous people throughout history that were born and passed before any of us were alive, but I'm almost positive you guys would argue some minute detail as to why whatever person I mention should be more well-known than Tupac, or that you actually know someone who doesn't know said person and you don't find it all that surprising...
Its Tupac... With his style of music, fame, and the controversial death, I honestly find it super hard to believe, bizarre even, that someone above an 8th grade education that is present at a not-cheap, music festival, watching an artist perform the same style of music from the same time period as Tupac, does not know who Tupac is...
My question now is, if the title of this thread was " Funny/Random/Weird Things You Saw/Overheard", would you guys have shut the fuck up?

No, I would need to be presented with an example of something worthy to be categorized as random.
