I'm beginning to be convinced that Billy Corgan is becoming a bigger pussy every year anyway.

I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs, or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me.

I mean eventually. Like as in years.
oh lol. then yeah, totally. They'll be there someday, unless they break up yet again. Which probably isn't unrealistic, unless it's a completely new band. Which is also probably not unrealistic.

dude TRAVIS. HELL yeah.
also, i was just watching never been kissed 5 minutes and when ozomatli was playing at that club, i was thinking about how awesome it would be for them to play, and then i imagined people on here bitching because ozomatli plays everything all the time, and i wrote back who cares? that doesn't make them bad. i wonder if that conversation will play out.
ozomatli with cut chemist and charli2na would rule
According to RichDork:
OK folks, stay calm. CALM LIKE A BOMB that is, because the only rap-rock band we actually remember (somewhat) fondly is back. That's right, as reported by the Los Angeles Times and confirmed by the festival's organizers, Rage Against the Machine will come out of retirement to play the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, taking place April 27-29 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
Rage will headline the festival's final night, April 29, while Björk will headline on Friday, April 27 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Saturday, April 28. (Ugh Why do the Red Hot Chili Peppers always have to come around and ruin these sorts of things?)
Other awesome artists confirmed to play Coachella: the Arcade Fire, Interpol, Willie Nelson, the Roots, Manu Chao, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, and Air. Other debatably awesome artists confirmed to play Coachella: Crowded House, Tiësto, and Kings of Leon.
And although the festival hasn't officially announced it yet, !!!, LCD Soundsystem, and Lupe Fiasco are also playing Coachella, as we've gathered from previous news stories.
Edit: I see there is already a thread dedicated to this. Oops.

I don't quite understand why crowded house is doing a reunion gig in America of all places, but I'm not questioning, just calling my local travel agent! I can't wait till the final lineup is announced, and if rage and crowded house are going you are gonna get a massive influx of Australians coming along to join the party.
Rage down, faith no more and soundgarden to go and then I can die remotely happy.
Please let it be true.
where's da hip hop!?
OUTKAST 2014
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, The Knife, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Tycho, Mr. Scruff

wow! u brought this back from the dead!
i'd rather go take a take a shit in the dirtiest porta potty there then deal with the "pumpkins" being there
BANDS THAT NEED TO BE AT COACHELLA '08:
1. Say Anything
2. Alexisonfire
3. Against Me!
4. Foo Fighters
5. Leftover Crack
6. Dropkick Murphys
I miss Bill Hicks.
Against Me! already played at Coachella '07 (sad I missed them)
I'm not familiar with the other bands, but the Foo Fighters would be freaking awesome. And I'd give my left nut to see LeftOver Crack live. But if the punks get dragged out to this Coachella for them... lets just say.. it's not Rage Against the Machie that people should be worried about.
But then again. Punks are generally on the "not having a lot of money" side, so maybe Coachella would be too expensive for a lot of them. Nevertheless. I'd love to see Leftover Crack live!!!!
wow. awesome for bumping a 3 month old thread about last year's lineup instead of posting this in one of the 20 threads this is already posted in...
