The line-up this year is tired at best and the show sold out in February?
I suggest to everyone to wait until the last minute to get the desperate scalpers to drop their prices. DON'T BUY FROM AGENCIES!!!! They have deals with TICKETMASTER to buy huge blocks of tickets to sell for crazy prices. Just wait or goto the show and you will find many people very desperate to break even or even sell under cost. Have faith. I promise you. I've done it EVERYTIME!!!!!

I had faith that tix wouldn't sell out this early and see where it got me?

Can't tell you agencies but I will say with 100% certainty (not that I have proof, but they always do this) that more tickets will be released closer to the show or you will be able to get tickets at the fest from someone trying to just get rid of them for face value. My buddy got them for under face value a year ago.

Even though this whole sell out thing makes me nervous I still have to agree with mschirmersf. I've bought tickets for way below face the past 2 years. On top of that, Goldenvoice (in their infinite wisdom) has always reserved some tickets to be sold at the gate. The parking lot has also been good to many people with desperate scalpers and goodhearted souls with cheap extras.

You'll never kick yourself for not buying a $600+ 3-day pass.

totally agree with him. if you pay that ridiculous amount now, youre just feeding into the problem. always wait till the very last minute to use a scalper if you have to. or get lucky here. or dont go. but for gods sake, dont use an agency. that hurts everybody.

Not as many as we think, at this point....... Like I said earlier, either they are waiting to show their teeth or just keeping the market scarce to keep prices high.
