The only experience I have ever had with Roni Size Reprazent is that the Playstation 2 game "Frequency" had one of their songs as a level. Anyone play that game?




EDIT: that game also had a lot of other cool music like Orbital, Meat Beat Manifesto, BT, QBert, Crystal Method, Jungle Brothers etc

I played that game all the time haha and this is probably the biggest thing on Sunday for me because they have not had a solid Jungle line up since Bassrush had that light up dome throwing down heavy tunes all night so to see a real drum & bass act on the flier is awesome last year Pendulum Live was a big let down so this is a BIG upgrade in my opinion and i hope it is in the sahara

Yup. Breakbeat Era were a trio if I remember correctly. Roni, a singer/vocalist, and someone else... they were just ok. Reprazent is much better.

I get what you are saying and there are better MC's than Skibadee but in all honesty with drum & bass the MC is just an instrument in my opinion the words matter but not as much as placement and timing. He isn't the best but he is one of the best and has been MCing for over 10 years now and he was the first MC i ever heard with grooverider on the decks and that was back in like 98 and still one of my favorite cd's. best MC in my opinion though has to be Shaba he is a beast

^ agree. I caught Roni Size @Nocturnal Wonderland and it was fucking unreal. I wasn't even looking forward to him, Andy C was also billed and he was who I was looking forward to but really disappointed. (very short set w/too many rewinds)

Roni Size was only djing that night, no Reprazent so I am very much looking forward to this! anyone interested in gathering for this and dancing our asses off & blazing? We can do a Coachella boardee dnb appreciation meet up!

For sure and yeah Audiotistic has always had a banging Jungle line up and Hip-Hop can't wait to see what electro acts they bring and i don't know the promotion company is Channel 36 and they are linked up with Insomniac for this years Audiotistic so we shall see what happens

I go to respect once every other month depending on the DJ's this month AK1200 will be there on the 19th and Black Sun Emprie will be there on the 26th and i saw a quick sneak peak at march that i can't find anywhere and March is gonna be off the hook the sound system at the echoplex is bangin too
