First time camping.....what to expect...

Hello, I'm just browsing around here. It's my first time camping and second time going to coachella. (Last time I went my bf and I saw the tents and we said next time we HAVE to camp!) I think we're prepared but I don't know what to expect. Are people running around naked all night or are lights out at 2 a.m.

Just want some tips and insight on what to expect! I'm really excited can't wait!!!

be prepared to wake up sweating

it's not crazy ridiculous loud, but certainly bring ear plugs, especially with the dome going all night

last year, there was this wild, loud parade though the campground that was a total blast. Campgrounds are a great party

Yes Yes there are lots of people running around naked. Just take off your clothes and start running and you will see us.

I never had any trouble sleeping either of the two years I camped. But I think both years I fell asleep drunk or stoned every night, and that helps a lot.

EXPECT MADNESS. Foreigners, porta potties, ballz, sunrises/sunsets, friendly neighbors, expensive ice, cartwheels, slip n' slide, food vendors, small showers, late nights, new friends, green grass, sleepovers, booze, drum circles, bon fires, walking into random peoples canopies, loud yelling, random people passed out, board members, dance parties, morning Sahara stretches, sunscreen, glow sticks, easy access to the entrance, and a beautiful weekend full of memories.

This was my first year to camp and plan on camping next year for sure.
It was a blast and my neighbors were cool as fuck.
