Same here. I honestly had NO idea what expect from Coachella. Some friends just invited me and I happened to stumble upon the MIdnight Juggernauts as the first band I saw. Never ever even heard of them and figured they'd be some gay rock band. But long behold it was a small preview of diversity of Coachella artists and I got along with people in the crowd because they are just so chill. TWAS NICE.

Les Savvy Fav, I think 08. At least they were the first band that I remember on the Friday. Fun show, the guy climbed up the light grid and performed at the top. V. Fun.

Same. He was pretty decent but I feel the same way about him taking my chella cherry as the guy who took my actual one. Wasn't bad, wasn't good, never need to think about him again.

first performance seen was death cab for cutie in '04. we saw these guys playing catch backstage at the outdoor, wondering who they heck they were, dressed in white jumpsuits. we found out a little bit later.

my cherry was popped the day before, but i was at the Octopus Project. i watched from the bleachers. it was an enjoyable set.

Their first album was good. I saw them at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz and had fun. Considering some bands that play at noon or early you could do a lot worse than Head Automatica.

Hm, yeah Silversun Pickups was much better but I thought Satellite Party was a fun performance. Perry is just too fun to watch, and his wife is good eye candy. The songs were good enough so I wasn't bored.

Yeah, we got there then because the line in was atrocious. We waited 2+ hours in the car and to get in to the venue.

yeah, I didnt get there until that late because the people I had a condo with were fucking slackers about getting out the door of the place. I was not very happy with them from about 2pm on.....
